• You must have had a green card for at least three years if it was obtained through marriage and you must still be married.
• If you obtained your green card through other means or are no longer married, then you must wait five years.
• You may complete your naturalization application and file it as early as three months before the actual date that you are eligible for naturalization.
• You must have been ‘physically present’ in the United States more than half of the time since you obtained your green card.
